DougL’s Ruminations has published 34 blog posts since September 23, 2021. These posts have been read (from top to bottom or just skimmed – nobody truly knows) approximately 7,500 times by roughly 3,500 people – most of whom come from my direct network. Some of these readers re-read the same article. Some of them pass the blog posts onto others (thanks!). The subject matter has varied, but here are the most popular ones, a combo of # of readers and how many times one was read:

  1. More and Better Executive Coaches Needed

  2. New Practices for Technology Companies Hiring in Today's Super-Tight Market

  3. Company 'Mental Health' Days Should Be an Organized, Standard Benefit in Startups

  4. What Comes First for Startups: MVP or MVC?

  5. A Checklist for Valuing a Startup when DCF is Not an Option

  6. Managing the Trickiness of Optics for Startups

  7. Entitlement in Startups - Part 1

  8. Stupid Startup Ideas

  9. Imposter Syndrome

  10. More on Handling Optics

You can read all my posts here.

DougL’s Ruminations is written for startup Board directors, CEOs and other chiefs in the startup C-suite, executive leadership teams, managers, advisors, consultants and others.

The content springs from my experiences as a Board Director, CEO and from occupying all the seats in the startup C-suite. The content is also informed by my hard-fought management and junior staff positions at Microsoft and at many other tech companies.

My ask is this. I would like to expand my subscriber base. If you have found my posts informative and useful, or have benefitted from them in another way, please ask a friend, colleague, partner or lover to subscribe. Here’s where they can do so:
